NATIONAL N-DIPLOMA: CIVIL ENGINEERING
Civil Engineering is one of the first and oldest engineering disciplines as it deals with the constructed environment including planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures, and facilities, such as roads, railroads, airports, bridges, harbors, channels, dams, irrigation projects, etc. Civil Engineers bring building projects to life. A Civil Engineer is creative, innovative and responsible to design structures that meet the needs of their company’s clients / people with the intention of making life more comfortable and convenient. Pax College offers a recognised and sort after qualification in Civil Engineering which is designed to offer employment opportunities for its graduates.
Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent or NQF Level 4 Certificate or NC(V) Level 4 Certificate.

Each Level consists of 4/5 months theoretical training. It will take the student 15-18 months to complete the theoretical training for the N4/5/6 on a full time basis. Thereafter the student must complete 24 months relevant experiential/practical training to qualify for the National N Diploma in Civil Engineering
